Computational Linguistics leads linguistics, International Security tops international relations for the second consecutive year, and The Review of Economics and Statistics ranks first in social sciences mathematics. This achievement is notable given that MIT Press's journals division operates on a remarkably small staff — fewer than ten people managing production and marketing for fifty journals that publish roughly twenty-five hundred articles annually. The journals' influence reaches well beyond academia: International Security articles are cited by major policy outlets including Foreign Affairs and Brookings.
