'Miracle on the Hudson' pilot diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease

The pilot who successfully landed a US Airways flight on the Hudson River in an emergency in two thousand nine has been diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer's disease. BBC News reports the seventy-five-year-old says the diagnosis is recent.
