Paramount Skydance Agrees to Link Merger Antitrust Case to Pre-Existing Paramount+ Subscriber Suit

Paramount has agreed to link the federal antitrust case filed by twelve states to a separate lawsuit brought by Paramount+ subscribers. The states challenged Paramount's one hundred eleven billion dollar merger, and their case will now be joined with the pre-existing subscriber suit. Per Variety, both matters will be heard by Judge Araceli Martinez-Olguin, a Biden appointee already overseeing the subscriber litigation.
