Bid to make daylight saving time permanent passes US house

The US House has passed the Sunshine Protection Act, which would make daylight saving time permanent across the United States, per ABC News Australia. The bill now heads to the Senate for a vote. If approved, Americans would no longer have to change their clocks twice yearly.
