Ineligible applicants allocated HDB flats, housing grants due to weaknesses in checks: AGO report

Singapore's housing authority allocated public housing flats and grants to ineligible applicants, according to an Audit General Office report that identified weaknesses in eligibility checks. Channel NewsAsia also reports the HDB may have overpaid nine point seven million Singapore dollars to a contractor for car park patrol and enforcement services that were not actually performed.
