According to The Guardian, calls are mounting to remove US Immigration and Customs Enforcement from American streets after federal agents killed two men in less than a week — neither of whom, officials say, was the target of enforcement action. The Guardian reports that Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero was killed in Maine and Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Texas. Advocacy groups, including the National Police Accountability Project and the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, have described the fatal shootings as extrajudicial killings.
