Haiti trapped by violence: Humanitarian aid deliveries struggle to reach local population

France 24 reports that Haiti remains trapped in a long-running battle against armed gangs across the capital and some provinces. A newly deployed international security force has yet to make widespread progress, and against that backdrop the humanitarian crisis keeps spiraling. According to France 24, one point five million people are now internally displaced within the country, with malnutrition widespread and aid deliveries struggling to reach the population.
