Muslim man stabbed multiple times in Utah over his religion, police say

A man has been arrested in Utah after allegedly stabbing a Muslim man multiple times and telling police he targeted the victim because of his religion. According to The Guardian, court records filed on Tuesday say the suspect stated he intends to kill Muslims, and police described him as a substantial danger to the public, citing his violent actions and what they called pre-planned mass casualty events. The victim was a kiosk worker in West Valley City.
