Stripe and Advent reportedly offered to buy PayPal for around $53.4B

Per TechCrunch, Stripe and private equity firm Advent International have jointly bid to acquire PayPal for approximately fifty-three point four billion dollars. Submitted earlier this month, the offer includes roughly fifty billion in committed bank financing. The deal would bring together two of the most significant players in online payments.
