Banijay and Mediawan Eye Lionsgate Studios Takeover

Lionsgate Studios, home to the 'Hunger Games' and 'John Wick' franchises, is drawing takeover interest from major production companies. Variety is reporting that television giant Banijay Group and French production company Mediawan Group are both making acquisition offers. French conglomerate Bollore, which controls Canal Plus, is not pursuing a deal.
