Police charge 14-year-old boy over alleged terror plot targeting London mosques

A fourteen-year-old boy from south London has been charged in connection with an alleged plot to target two mosques, in a case police have linked to extreme right-wing terrorism. The Guardian reports that the boy was arrested on the ninth of July on suspicion of criminal damage to a vehicle, but when officers searched his home they found what the Metropolitan Police described as a number of documents of concern. According to the Metropolitan Police, no other suspects are being sought in the case.
