After week of silence, Gov. Greg Abbott calls fatal ICE shooting “tragic”

The Texas Tribune reports that Governor Greg Abbott has, after a week of silence, called a fatal ICE shooting "tragic." Abbott said federal immigration laws should be enforced, but added that, in his words, "in Texas and across America, we don't want to see people shot." The Tribune notes the comments broke a week-long silence from the governor.
