Thailand mulls suspending nearly 6,000 officials over exam scandal

Channel NewsAsia reports that Thai authorities are considering suspending nearly six thousand officials in the wake of a June bribery scandal. Investigators concluded that the officials accepted bribes of up to eight hundred thousand baht to electronically alter exam results, enabling candidates to pass mandatory tests required for government appointments and promotions.
