Senegal's 'plastic man' helps raise awareness about plastic pollution

Senegal is facing a major environmental challenge from plastic waste in West Africa. Activist Modou Fall has taken a striking approach to raising awareness: he wears an outfit constructed entirely from discarded plastic as he walks through Dakar and other cities. Per France 24, his goal is to highlight the scale of the problem and push authorities to enforce environmental protection laws. In doing so, Fall is making plastic pollution impossible to overlook.
