NZ's South Island struck by magnitude-5.9 earthquake

ABC News is reporting that a magnitude five point nine earthquake struck New Zealand's South Island on Thursday, forty kilometers north of Te Anau. The tremor likely affected the west coast from Milford Sound to Puysegur Point.
