EU court upholds Spanish amnesty law as compatible with EU law

Al Jazeera reports that the EU court has upheld Spain's amnesty law as compatible with European law. The amnesty, introduced in 2024 by Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, covers people involved in the Catalan independence movement.
