Variety reports that the Toronto International Film Festival has announced five new additions to its Special Presentations program, including films featuring Margaret Qualley, Cate Blanchett, and Mahershala Ali. Among the selections is Alpha Gang, a sci-fi comedy from the Zellner brothers, who previously made Sasquatch Sunset. The film follows a gang of humanoid aliens who come to Earth intending to wipe out humanity but unexpectedly develop a fondness for people instead.
