Burnham too influenced by ‘vested interests’ to offer change, Polanski says

The Green Party is positioning itself squarely against Andy Burnham's potential rise to Prime Minister. Zack Polanski, the Greens' leader, says Burnham is too beholden to vested interests to offer real change—particularly on wealth taxes, Gaza, and rent controls. Per The Guardian, the party has more than tripled its membership and is now polling close to Labour, much of that growth coming from former Labour voters disenchanted with Keir Starmer.
