Canada's air ranks as worst in the world due to wildfire smoke

France 24 reports eight hundred thirty-five active wildfires are burning across the country, with one hundred twelve of them out of control. The smoke has created hazardous conditions in major cities—Toronto residents have been warned to stay indoors if possible. US officials are watching closely, concerned the smog could drift into the northeastern United States and potentially affect the World Cup final being held in New Jersey.
