Ex-CEO of Italian motorway operator among 32 convicted over Genoa bridge collapse

Euronews reports that thirty-two people, including the former chief executive of an Italian motorway operator, have been convicted over the Genoa bridge collapse. Dozens of victims' family members packed the courtroom as the chief judge read out verdicts against fifty-seven defendants, and many relatives broke down in tears as the sentences were delivered. The 2018 collapse of Genoa's Morandi Bridge killed forty-three people.
