Per The Guardian, former pardon attorney Liz Oyer testified before the Senate judiciary committee on Thursday against Todd Blanche's nomination for Attorney General. She said she lost her job after declining to rubber-stamp a political favor for a friend of the president. Oyer warned the committee not to further degrade the justice system.
