Canada wildfires spread smoke across North America, prompting air quality alerts

Smoke from more than eight hundred wildfires in Canada is spreading across North America, BBC World reports. Air quality alerts have been triggered in Toronto, New York, and large parts of Michigan, Minneapolis, and Minnesota.
