Protests erupt in Colombia as far-right set to win presidential election

According to France 24, protests have erupted in Colombia following the presidential election. The far-right candidate Abelardo de la Espriella, a pro-Trump lawyer and businessman, is set to defeat his left-wing opponent Ivan Cepeda by around two hundred fifty thousand votes. Though election officials have not yet formally announced the winner, with almost all votes counted, Cepeda has signaled his team will challenge results from tens of thousands of voting stations.
