Help us launch AI safety university groups by referring potential founders

According to LessWrong, a new initiative—the AI Safety Seeding Initiative—is systematically searching for student founders to launch university AI safety groups. Only thirty-seven of the top one hundred U.S. universities currently have such groups, leaving hundreds of thousands of students without access to the field. Led by experienced field-builders Jason Chin and Thomas Rodskog and backed by Kairos, the initiative offers prospective founders personalized intro calls, support in building a group from the ground up, and preparation for the Pathfinder fellowship program, which provides mentorship and funding. The organizers are asking for referrals of promising students—no prior experience required, just intelligence and genuine interest in the field.
