German actor Jonathan Berlin is stepping behind the camera for his first feature film, Mio—an original queer coming-of-age drama. The story follows a teenager embarking on a mysterious journey after his parents disappear, set in a small Spanish town. The film stars Taddeo Kufus, Barbara Auer, and Godehard Giese. According to Variety, Berlin is writing and directing the project, which explores the passage from childhood into adolescence.
