Paramount+ Subscribers Fail to Block Warner Bros. Merger as States Will Try Again Friday

Variety reports that Paramount Plus subscribers failed in court Thursday to block a proposed merger with Warner Bros. Discovery. The plaintiffs, who sued in April, had alleged the deal would lead to price hikes and diminished viewing options. State attorneys general will attempt to block the merger when they return to court on Friday.
