Pauline Hanson laments end of White Australia policy and talks up daughter’s leadership potential

Pauline Hanson, Australia's One Nation party leader, appeared on a podcast hosted by far-right British activist Tommy Robinson to make a series of unsubstantiated claims about migrants, blaming the end of the White Australia policy—which restricted non-European immigration until the nineteen seventies—for problems she associates with migration. Per The Guardian, Hanson made evidence-free accusations that Muslim communities are misusing the disability insurance scheme and spreading sharia law. While in the UK for conference appearances and a holiday, she also promoted her daughter, Lee, as the future of One Nation.
