A landslide in Chongqing, in south-western China, has buried people under rubble and destroyed a roadway and several buildings, ABC News Australia reports, citing Chinese state media. Chongqing is one of China's largest urban regions, home to tens of millions of people. The feed does not yet include detail on casualties or the scale of the rescue effort.
