China ‘firmly opposes’ UK nationalisation of British Steel

According to Euronews, the UK government has passed legislation to nationalise British Steel, which was previously owned by China's Jingye Group. The move aims to preserve the country's steelmaking capacity, as Jingye had moved to shut down the company's blast furnaces. China has firmly opposed the nationalisation.
