Giovanni Veronesi’s ‘Dio Ride’ to Close Venice Film Festival

Variety is reporting that Giovanni Veronesi's 'Dio Ride'—which translates to 'God Laughs'—will close the eighty-third Venice International Film Festival in September. The film, starring Pierfrancesco Favino and Silvio Orlando, screens in the out-of-competition section of the venerable festival, which runs from September second through the twelfth.
