Iranian airport and bridges hit as US forces board ship amid ports blockade – Middle East crisis live

The confrontation between the United States and Iran is widening, according to The Guardian. Iranian media report that an airport, bridges, and a southern rail station have been hit, while U.S. marines have boarded a tanker as part of a blockade of Iranian ports. Iran's Revolutionary Guard, meanwhile, claims to have destroyed U.S. fighter jets stationed in Jordan. Kuwait says the fighting has spilled across its borders as well, with its energy ministry reporting that one of its power and water desalination plants was struck by Iran, setting off a fire and damaging the facility.
