San Sebastián: New Titles From J.A. Bayona, ’The Beloved’ Scribe Isabel Peña and Fernando Trueba; Mikel Gurrea, Berto Romero and Roberto Bueso Set for Competition

The San Sebastián International Film Festival has unveiled its new selections, Variety reports. Three Spanish directors have landed in the main competition: Mikel Gurrea's "Sants," starring Vicky Luengo; Berto Romero's time-loop relationship comedy "Five Minutes More"; and Roberto Bueso's family dramedy "El mal padre." Also on the program is Isabel Peña's "El Castillo," screening out of competition. Peña, a frequent collaborator as a screenwriter with director Rodrigo Sorogoyen, is establishing herself as a filmmaker in her own right.
