Andy Burnham becomes Labour leader in final step towards becoming UK PM

The Guardian reports that Andy Burnham, the former mayor of Greater Manchester, has become the leader of the Labour party. He secured overwhelming support from MPs, trade unions, and party branches, and is expected to be sworn in as prime minister on Monday, when he'll appoint his cabinet.
