CNB arrests 100 suspected drug offenders in islandwide operation; drugs worth more than S$34,000 seized

Channel NewsAsia reports that Singapore's Central Narcotics Bureau conducted an islandwide operation that arrested more than a hundred suspected drug offenders. Authorities seized drugs valued at more than thirty-four thousand Singapore dollars—including about eight hundred fifty-nine grams of cannabis, one hundred twenty grams of heroin, and eighty-five grams of Ice. The bureau said the seized drugs could potentially feed the addictions of more than two hundred twenty-eight drug abusers for a week.
