Maid jailed after stealing more than S$217,000 from employer, bought condo, vehicles and land in the Philippines

A domestic helper in Singapore has been jailed for stealing more than two hundred seventeen thousand Singapore dollars from her employer over four years. Channel NewsAsia reports she repeatedly removed cash and jewellery from the safe, until she was caught on camera. She used the stolen funds to purchase a condominium, vehicles, and farmland in the Philippines.
