Netflix Plans Theatrical Events in Colombia for Grand Finale of Epic ‘One Hundred Years of Solitude’ Part 2 (EXCLUSIVE)

Netflix is bringing one of its most ambitious Latin American adaptations to a close this August. 'One Hundred Years of Solitude,' based on Gabriel García Márquez's Nobel Prize-winning novel, will debut its second and final season, picking up directly from season one and covering the last fifty years of the story. Variety reports that Netflix is planning theatrical events in Colombia for the release—an unusual move for a streaming series finale.
