South East Water warns over survival as funds dry up

South East Water, serving two point four million customers, has warned of material uncertainty about its survival. The company struggled through a difficult year marked by significant losses, millions in fines, and its chief executive's departure. Per The Guardian, the utility says it has sufficient funds to last until July twenty twenty-seven, but will need new loan facilities shortly after to continue as a going concern.
