Variety is reporting on a new historical biopic: 'Mussau: The First Song,' set in the nineteen thirties, will chronicle the life of Taula Lovovoa, one of the first indigenous Seventh-day Adventist missionaries from Mussau Island in Papua New Guinea. Director Bijukumar Damodaran, an Indian National Film Award winner, will bring the story of transformation and reconciliation to the screen.
