Germany to join French nuclear exercise in bid to boost defence cooperation

Germany will participate in a French nuclear exercise later this year, Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced Friday following defense talks with French President Emmanuel Macron at an air base near Cologne. The two countries also plan to continue developing a cloud solution from their joint FCAS fighter jet project, which collapsed earlier this year.
