Generation Z has long held firm on the great flat-shoe crusade, from Adidas Sambas to ballet flats. But per The Guardian, the notoriously anti-heel generation is now flirting with a potential gateway heel: the kitten heel flip-flop. Typically standing just one-point-five inches tall—roughly the height of a triple-A battery—these minimal heels have caught on with everyone from Wimbledon attendees to Love Island's cast. It seems that even the most devoted flat-only devotees can be won over by a heel that barely qualifies as one.
