Court Hears Argument on States’ Move to Pause Paramount-Warner Bros. Merger

A coalition of states is seeking to temporarily halt the Paramount-Warner Bros. Discovery merger. Per Variety, a federal judge heard arguments Friday and said she would issue a ruling by the following Wednesday. During the hearing, the judge suggested that Paramount had conceded it would not suffer harm from a temporary pause on the deal.
