Keith Thomas broke his neck diving in 2020 and spent six years paralyzed from the chest down. Per Boing Boing, neural implants that bypass his spinal cord injury have now restored lost abilities: he can feed himself, drink from a cup, and feel his dog's fur. The technology represents a breakthrough in how brain-computer interfaces are helping paralyzed individuals regain both motor control and sensation.
