Atlas Obscura reports on a place offering chili sauces in escalating levels, up to seven million, seven hundred seventy-seven thousand, seven hundred seventy-seven Scoville Heat Units—nearly two thousand times hotter than Tabasco. The shop has created a membership club: finish all the heat levels within six months and your face, presumably tearful, gets immortalized on the wall of fame. Milk and cocoa are sold as remedies, though carbonated drinks only make the burn worse.
