Walmart announced Tuesday it's acquiring Vibe.co, an advertising platform that helps advertisers buy and create ads. The retail giant, already selling video ads through its stores and Vizio TV business, is deepening its shift into the advertising space. According to Variety, the move reflects Walmart's strategy to monetize its massive customer reach beyond traditional retail.
