Sales Rep Annual Quotas in 2026: What High Performers Are Actually Carrying: $750k for SMB, $1.35m for Mid-Market, $2.25m for Enterprise

saas

According to SaaStr, top-performing enterprise account executives are now carrying annual quotas of two point two five million dollars, per ICONIQ's 2026 GTM benchmark survey of over one hundred fifty B2B and AI software companies. Mid-market stands at one point three five million dollars, and SMB at seven hundred fifty thousand dollars. The shift extends beyond raw numbers to compensation structure. Sixty-five percent of high performers now own cross-sell responsibilities, and net new recurring revenue incentives have jumped from twenty-five to thirty-three percent of comp in a single year. Perhaps most striking: leading B2B and AI companies are achieving eighty-five to ninety percent quota attainment despite these steeper targets—well above the traditional industry average of sixty-five to seventy-five percent. The enabler is pipeline quality. Companies embedding AI into their sales and marketing motions are seeing ten to eleven percentage point improvements in lead-to-MQL conversion rates, which creates the capacity for reps to carry substantially higher quotas without collapsing on attainment.
