Dangerous air quality warnings remain in place across much of the United States on Saturday as smoke from Canadian wildfires in Ontario and Minnesota continues to blanket large parts of the country. The Guardian reports that mid-Atlantic and north-east regions will see poor air through Saturday afternoon, when thunderstorms may bring some relief—though those storms could also spark flash flooding and high winds. Meanwhile, the midwest and Great Lakes regions will continue to experience dangerous air quality.
