world

Ukrainian drones struck two Wildberries logistics centers in Russia's Moscow and Tambov regions in the early hours of Saturday, July 18. According to Meduza, seven night-shift workers were killed and twenty-five injured at a warehouse in the city of Kotovsk, while twenty-four more people were hurt at Wildberries' largest Russian facility in Elektrostal. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the strikes answered Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine, and claimed the warehouses held drone components and navigation equipment. Meduza reports that large fires broke out afterward, with smoke visible from as far as fifty kilometers away.
