Russia's online marketplace Wildberries says it will compensate sellers who lost goods in Ukrainian drone strikes on its warehouses in the Moscow and Tambov regions, though it hasn't said how much. According to Meduza, founder and chief executive Tatyana Kim said the company is still working out the payment amounts, and pledged two million rubles to the families of those killed in the strikes and one million rubles to those left in serious condition. Kim noted Wildberries has no obligation to cover lost inventory, and detailed guidance for sellers will appear on the company's seller portal. The move comes after Wildberries added a clause to its seller agreement in early July exempting itself from liability for missed obligations during a drone attack.
