Ukrainian drones torched a Wildberries warehouse outside Moscow. In that town, the weekend went on as usual.

In the early hours of July 18, Ukrainian drones struck a Wildberries warehouse in Elektrostal, just outside Moscow. Wildberries is Russia's biggest marketplace, and this was its largest warehouse. Smoke from the fire spread across more than five thousand square kilometers—more than twice the area of Moscow—visible in satellite and aerial imagery. Yet in Elektrostal itself, the weekend went on as normal: people pushed strollers, relaxed outdoors, and went paddleboarding. A photojournalist traveled there to capture the striking contrast between the burning warehouse and the town's ordinary routines, per Meduza.
