Veteran Hong Kong actor and filmmaker Patrick Tse dies at age 89

Veteran Hong Kong actor and filmmaker Patrick Tse has died at the age of eighty-nine. Channel NewsAsia reports that his children, Nicholas Tse and Jennifer Tse, confirmed on social media that he died peacefully in hospital after a period of declining health. Tse was a fixture of Hong Kong cinema across a career spanning decades, and his son Nicholas is himself a well-known actor and singer in the region.
